The Wrap Academy: It’s a wrap!
Roland DG teamed up with longstanding technology partner BWT Alpine Formula One Team to launch ‘The Wrap Academy’ - a one-of-a-kind car wrapping workshop.
Hosted at BWT Alpine Formula One Team’s Technical Centre in Enstone, England, ten talented car wrappers from across Europe went head-to-head to showcase their skills in front of car wrapping royalty. Celebrity car customiser Yianni Charalambous joined our judging panel on the day to observe each wrapper's technical ability, craftsmanship, and attention to detail, as well as a team of experts from BWT Alpine Formula One Team and Hexis UK.
Mike Szwacki, founder of MEK Wrap Squad based in the UK was crowned the champion and went on to support BWT Alpine Formula One Team’s wrap crew at one of the most iconic motorsport events in Las Vegas, receiving unparalleled access to the fast-paced world of Formula One car wrapping - from the pit stop to the wrap shop.
