Eastprint puts trust in Roland technology to always get the job done
Eastprint trusts its Roland SOLJET printers to get work done fast and faultlessly, whether it's a small banner or gigantic billboard. This level of trust is what makes Eastprint a Roland Hero.
Eastprint is a one-stop-shop for all kinds of advertising. The Dresden business, founded in 2005, does everything from LED-lit signage to gigantic billboards to innovative promotional products like branded deckchairs – from design to installation.
To achieve this incredible portfolio of highest-quality output and keep its 40-strong workforce – including seven apprentices – working, Eastprint needs technology it can trust.

The German company therefore relies on a Roland SOLJET SJ-1045EX 2,500mm-wide dye-sublimation printer and four identical Roland SOLJET EJ-640 eco-solvent printers each offering a 1,600mm print width.
"We opted for Roland devices because of their proven technology," says Maik Vogel, Managing Director at Eastprint. "They are the perfect solution for media of up to 1600mm wide. They offer simple handling, fast media changeover, high printing speeds, media versatility, attractive ink prices and, thanks to our four identical devices, are highly flexible."
Vehicle lettering for cars, buses and even lorries is printed on the quartet of SOLJET EJ-640 printers, along with wallpaper, pop-up displays, graphics on self-adhesive film and more – with the Eastprint team trusting the kit to deliver everything they need, when they need it, even at short notice.
"The Rolands' toughest job was to complete nearly 1,000m/sq of floor graphics for an event in Hamburg – it had to be printed and laminated in two days," comments Maik. "We got the order done by running at a speed of 80sqm/hr.
