20 years of Roland gives MediaMouse opportunities to thrive

Denmark's MediaMouse was born from the ashes of the dotcom bubble-burst and has spent the last 20 years discovering new opportunities to grow.
Jesper Norbøll says his now nine-year-old daughter Thea considers MediaMouse as practically an older brother – and the graphics company is certainly part of the family. Jesper founded MediaMouse 20 years ago when his previous business fell victim to the burst of the dotcom bubble. The first machine ever installed at MediaMouse was a desktop Roland STIKA vinyl cutter, used for the production of seasonal displays and opening-hours signs for shop windows. The STIKA is still going strong today, alongside six other Roland systems and Thea's very own homework desk.
MediaMouse is a complete print shop delivering all kinds of projects to all kinds of customers, from entrepreneurs, to one-man-bands that have grown into well-known brands, to international corporations in industries such as software, sports apparel and biotechnology. The five members of staff, based in Alleroed, 30km north of Copenhagen, do everything from design to production.

"The company is known for our ability to deliver when others fail and with very tight deadlines," says Jesper.
"That first Roland STIKA machine has not only, together with its 'siblings', made it possible for MediaMouse to grow, expand and provide new solutions to our clients – it's a part of the family."

Jesper says MediaMouse has the ability to pursue opportunities thanks to its array of Roland equipment; the systems provide high levels of quality, reliability and speed for every customer. Indeed, MediaMouse has gained a reputation for helping clients who have been let down by other print suppliers.
Notably, when HM The Queen of Denmark turned 75 in 2015, MediaMouse was asked to decorate an office building situated on the main square in Copenhagen as part of the celebrations. Another company had passed on the job at the last minute and Jesper and his team has just four days to finish the entire project.
"We were asked to do the job due to our reputation of being able to deliver a perfect result with short notice, which really is the DNA of MediaMouse," he says.
"The development of Roland equipment has in turn supported the development of MediaMouse," the dad-of-one continues. "Throughout the years we have delivered new products to our customers following the introduction of new Roland technology, such as white and metallic ink, but it's the quality and reliability that supports us every day – it is quality equipment that delivers what you need, every time."
MediaMouse doesn't advertise its services, instead relying on word of mouth to present business opportunities.
